The theme of our class exhibit was Spirits and Fairies, which I interpreted as the outlook on the spiritual side of our nature. I wanted to base my final work on procrastination and the anxiety that comes with it. I think it is very common amongst students to experience these emotions and often times it can become a very big problem. Through my work I wanted to reach out to people who might feel the same and let people who are not familiar get a glimpse into these unpleasant feelings. I used contrasting colors and odd lighting to make the viewer feel uncomfortable and create an uncanny feeling. In the original I planed to add faces to the two girls, but in the end I left them blank to let the viewer project their own emotions onto the characters.
